An evolutionary psychology blog (worth reading)

Two years ago I was excited by the launch of the first blog by a major evolutionary psychologist - Satoshi Kanazawa's The Scientific Fundamentalist. Unfortunately, it turned out Kanazawa is batshit insane and often face-palmingly wrong, so my search for a blog by a reasonable evolutionary psychologist continued. Luckily, a while back the interwebs provided: Rob Kurzban's ingeniously entitled Evolutionary Psychology Blog hosted by the equally ingeniously entitled journal Evolutionary Psychology. Being twice shy and all that, I didn't want to recommend Kurzban's blog before I gave it a good long look. Now that I have, I can say Kurzban's blog is well worth reading.

So... check it out.

  2. I haven't, no. Too broke. And too many books already on my to-read list!

  3. You know you’re about to get into trouble, reading-wise, when your list of books to read reaches a stable number of 20 or more, and no matter how fast you read, the list contains a constant number of books. I know this spells trouble because I was at that point several years ago and since then, my list has grown at a rate higher than my consumption of them.

    I’m convinced there’s a yet-to-be-discovered natural law skulking in there somewhere. ;)

  5. Okay, this is a silly layperson comment. I found my way here via the Evolutionary Psychology Blog and I simply wanted to point out that I read your bio like this:

"...propitiating his wife, he investigates the effects of rapid & unreflective facial judgments on political "erections".

But of course "elections" makes much more sense.

Carry on. I just followed you on Twitter.

As a bodybuilder, I basically get outbreak due to the daily pressure and heat in the body.. Recently I stumbled upon my salvation. I found a herbal remedy to cure hsv completely, in just 4weeks ..

I got to know about Dr Utu after seeing a lady's testimony online. I reached the doctor and I ordered for herpes herbal medicine. He sent the herbs to me and I started making use of them. In just 2days, the cold sores are cleared. 4weeks after medication, I went to the hospital for test of cold sores and it was completely NEGATIVE.

By following every prescription, i was able to cure my cold sore in less than 4weeks. 100% natural herbs no after effect.
